This prefabricated guard booth is being used to shelter military guards who check traffic entering and exiting this military base. The bricks for the wall of this guard booth were installed at our factory prior to shipping. This standing seam roof was hand crafted and installed at our factory.
This roof design enhances the architectural appeal of this prefabricated guard booth. Because this prefabricated guard booth was shipped already assembled, installation was as simple as off-loading and anchoring onto the existing concrete pad. This booth also includes an anodized aluminum sliding door. As a standard, Porta-King utilizes a top suspended anodized aluminum sliding door. The top suspended assembly reduces the maintenance that is required for bottom track door assemblies used in many of our competitors’ buildings.
Sliding doors are commonly used in lieu of swing doors for guard booths that are to be installed in close proximity to traffic lanes. This prefabricated Duraluminum guard booth includes a pre-installed electric package in accordance to the customer’s specifications. Included in this electric package was a through wall HVAC unit located in the back of the booth to provide climate control inside the booth. Porta-King uses all anodized aluminum construction for the structural framework and finished surfacing of our Duraluminum guard booths. Using all anodized aluminum construction creates a long lasting, maintenance free prefabricated guard booth.
