 Porta-King Building Systems manufactured this Durasteel pay on foot shelter to house this pay on foot parking equipment and to provide a dry, well lit area for patrons to make there payment transaction. This pay on foot shelter arrived on-site fully assembled and ready for imediate use. All that was required was anchoring the shelter to the existing concrete suface and connection of electrical surface to power the lighting which facilitates nighttime operation. Lighting can be attached to the outside of the shelter to enhance security by illuminating the surrounding area.
Fully enclosed shelters are also available. These fully enclosed shelters are popular in parts of the country where heavy snowfall is common. This modified design prevents snow from blowing and drifting into the inside of the building. Doors can also be added to further prevent snow infiltration while adding additional security for patrons using the pay on foot equipment. Portable shelters from Porta-King include a single color paint finish. We paint our shelters with a industrial grade acrylic enamel to guard against rust. All support post and anchoring plates also include an undercoating of a rust inhibitive bituminous coating. Standard glazing for our portable shelters is tempered safety glass with anodized aluminum window frames.
