Unlike other competitive systems, we install all of the structural connecting components at our factory. These structural components are easily bolted together to create a rigid structural framework.
We also supplied guardrail for this structural steel catwalk to enhance the safety of personnel using it to access the mezzanine. Our guardrail designed for use with our catwalks is a unique prefabricated system. The guardrail is fabricated into panels that can be lifted onto the top of the deck surface and then quickly installed onto the finished floor. The standard flooring for a structural steel catwalk is Oriented Strand Board (OSB). However,
a PK Structures structural steel catwalk can be supplied with a variety of finished floor options depending on the application requirements.
