Although we offer many standard models, each unit we manufacture ends up being custom designed to incorporate those different design features required for each customer’s unique project needs. The building in this photo is an example of our Duraluminum preassembled building. Our Duraluminum buildings are different from other preassembled aluminum framed buildings because we utilize anodized aluminum components for the panel surfaces and structural framework. We used anodized aluminum for the construction because it is a maintenance free finish. Other manufacturers use mill finished aluminum or fiberglass reinforced plastic for the finish surface of their buildings. Neither of these materials is as maintenance free as anodized aluminum. Because of this we can offer better warranties than the companies that utilize these materials in the construction of their buildings.
This security booth includes a swing door for access into the building. We also offer top suspended sliding door for the same price. Sliding doors are typically a more popular for booths that will be placed in a traffic lane. The sliding door is considered to be a safer option for these applications because they don’t open into the traffic lane.
Like most Porta-King preassembled buildings, this booth includes an installed roof with an integral gutter on two sides. Our standard roof design also includes a membrane skin on top to create a weather tight seal to guard against leaks. Standing seam roofs or other custom roof designs can be incorporated into our booths to match a desired architectural look.
