 This prefabricated stair shelter is installed at a county jail located in the northwestern United States. The stair shelter measures 9' wide and 18' long and includes full perimeter glazing. Additionally this shelter includes a door to control access to the jail garage. One of the primary reasons for selecting this design was that it arrived completely assembled and ready for use. A crane with lifting straps and a spreader bar were used to hoist the stair shelter into place. The installation crew then anchored the shelter onto the existing concrete curb to complete the installation process.
