| Range Tower at Shooting Range |
This range tower was constructed for use on a NRC certified shooting range in western Pennsylvania. The facility was created as a joint venture between the FBI and the local police department for use by both agencies in small arms training. The tower serves as shelter for personnel observing the training sessions while protecting the sensitive equipment used to monitor and score individual participant’s performance.
The prefabricated design of our range towers was of particular interest to our client due to the speed in which the entire system could be assembled. All of the steel components used to create this tower structure were delivered to the construction site ready for immediate assembly. All connecting angles and clips used to connect the support structure are pre-welded onto the individual structural components to further enhance the ease of assembly.
In addition, the Durasteel building we supplied to create the observation booth arrived, on-site, fully assembled from our factory. The booth was simply off-loaded from the back of the delivery truck, lifted onto the structure and then anchored to the top frame to complete the installation. As a single-source supplier of both the tower and booth we take sole responsibility for the fit and finish of the entire structure. Our factory representatives will meet on-site to review project requirements. Comprehensive approval drawings are created for each project for review prior to fabrication.
All towers are custom designed to meet specific application requirements. We can supply sealed structural engineering calculations for all 50 states and Canada. All of our structures are designed in compliance with IBC or other applicable codes. Galvanized steel is used to create our towers to resist corrosion and provide years of trouble free service.
