Range Towers Porta-King’s PK Structures towers consist of pre-engineered structural steel components to create an easy to assemble, heavy-duty range towers, ideal for use by private range operators, law enforcement agencies and military bases throughout the United States. In addition, these structures have been supplied to support military range operations around the world. A typical structure, like the one shown in this photograph, can be assembled in 1-2 days. For most applications, we will also supply a preassembled building to complete the installation. Because these buildings are preassembled the overall speed in which the range can be up and operational is greatly enhanced. Because we manufacture both towers and preassembled buildings, we can provide our clients with a simple, one-stop solution for sourcing range towers for their new shooting range installations. All Porta-King towers are designed in strict compliance with local codes including the stringent standards for seismic ground motion calculations required under the IBC 2006. All of our towers are painted with an industrial grade are coated with an extremely durable polyurethane acrylic paint to resist nicks and scratches even in the harshest environments. Our standard paint color is gray, but optional colors are available. Galvanized steel construction is also available and commonly used for exterior applications like this one.
