Mezzanines / IBC 2000 Summary Available From Porta-King

Porta-King Building Systems is offering its PK Structures Mezzanine Summary to explain the new International Building Code (IBC 2000) and its impact on mezzanine design.
PK Structures recently conducted a peer review to assure its mezzanine design and construction met the stringent new code, and to demonstrate their confidence in the design. The review, conducted by an independent structural engineer with eleven years of applied experience in the engineering and design of mezzanines, commented that PK Structures dedication to satisfying the connection requirements for 'True Compliance' with IBC for all mezzanines produced was unique to the mezzanine industry. In addition, the engineer conducting the review was very impressed with PK Structures manufacturing quality, commenting that the welds used in the construction were of the highest quality and that the painting and packaging used for there mezzanines were also exceptional.
