| Modular Portable Building For R&D Laboratory |
This modular portable building was constructed for use in this Midwest based manufacturer to house specialized equipment used that could be used for research and development. Unlike our traditional panelized systems that are assembled on-site, this modular portable building was shipped in fully assembled modules from our factory. Because this building was manufactured in sections it can be easily moved from location to location by use of a forklift. The panels utilized to construct this structure are assembled around a steel framework that creates a superstructure rigid enough to be lifted by forklift and moved anywhere in the facility. Once placed in the desired location, the separate modular components of this unit can be bolted together to create a fully functional enclosure.
The 3" thick wall panels used to construct this building provide excellent thermal insulation and sound control. The ceiling system for this structure is also using modular panels. These prefabricated panels enhance the rigidity of this structures frame and provide excellent sound and thermal control.
To further enhance the speed of assembly, all electrical wiring, fire suppression and H.V.A.C. were pre-installed in the individual modules at our factory. Finally, we create detailed approval drawings, which show all devices as they will be installed allowing the customer to review the layout details prior to fabrication. This process eliminates on-site problems during the installation process. Contact us today for an on-site demonstration of how this and other examples of our pre-engineered building products could be utilized for your next construction project.
