| Modular Portable Building In Use as a Shipping & Receiving Office Building |
This fully assembled modular building is used for a portable shipping and receiving building in this warehouse. The prefabricated design allowed the shipping clerk to move in right away. The 3 inch insulated modular walls reduce the noise from fork-truck traffic inside this portable shipping and receiving building. The prefinished drywall used to create the partition walls creates a class 1 fire rated wall system.
Porta-King offers seven different prefinished drywall colors to choose from. This modular system not only shelters personnel, but it also shelters computers and other electronic equipment from the dirty outside environment. The vertical connecting post used to assemble these modular panels also serve as raceways for concealment of electrical, data and communication wiring.
Other options include H.V.A.C. systems, pre-plumbed restrooms and fire suppression systems. All can be installed at our factory prior to shipping this modular building to your facility. The portability of this design is very popular with many of our customers. All that is necessary to move this portable building is to disconnect the electrical service. The building can then be picked up with a fork-lift and moved to wherever it is need.
