| Modular Portable Building Used For An In-Plant Office |
This modular portable building was shipped to this factory already assembled for use as an in-plant office. The assembly included an electrical system with outlets, lights and a light switch, pre-wired to a load center. A certified electrician completed the main electrical connection for this modular office on-site. By purchasing a fully assembled prefabricated office, the customer avoided the cost and disruption caused by on-site construction.
Our standard modular building can be assembled considerably faster than conventional construction, but a fully assembled modular building like this one, eliminates on-site construction altogether.
This modular enclosure also included polycarbonate glazing for the windows. Polycarbonate glazing is very impact resistant and virtually indestructible. The floor structures supplied for this portable modular office will enable it to be moved from location to location with a forklift. Now within minutes, the customer can create a clean, comfortable, separate working area anywhere in the plant.
Other options include forklift pockets cut into the base for easy access and a through wall H.V.A.C. unit. The standard flooring material for these fully assembled modular units is sheet vinyl. Optional flooring materials can include anti-fatigue matting, carpet, aluminum tread plate and raised rubber disc. The roof structure of this modular portable building is a solid panelized design. This not only enhances the sound and thermal value of the ceiling, but it maximizes the interior ceiling height because the panels sit directly on top of the modular wall panels.
