This 3” Versa-King In-Plant Office is being used to shelter plant personnel at this Midwest manufacturer. The 3”walls of this modular office separates personnel from plant operations to create a quieter, cleaner working environment. Our local dealer visited on-site with this customer to determine the specific requirements for this application. The modular design allowed the customer to create a custom floor plan that met their specific application requirements.
In addition to the prefabricated building concept, our dealer also recommended the use of a componentized wiring system. This unique wiring system, provided by Porta-King, includes all pre-wired electrical components that snap-together to form a complete electrical system. This allowed a turn-key installation of the in-plant office to be completed by the dealer’s installation crew. This included wiring the building to a load center. At the end of the installation, the customer’s in-house electrician connected the office load center to the main power supply. This comprehensive modular design will enable the end user to easily move or modify the original design if required. Porta-King works regularly with our dealers to re-design offices like this one at anytime for no additional charge.
To complete this project our dealer provided on-site design consultation, and turn-key installation service. To make sure the final design was in compliance with the customer’s desires, Porta-King provided our dealer with detailed approval drawings to complete an on-site review prior to fabrication. Our dealer reviewed the drawings with the customer to determine if any modification to the layout of the building or the electrical system would be required prior to fabrication.
