| Modular Sorting Room Elevated on a Platform |
This Versa-King modular sorting room is 25'x25' with 10' wall panels. The exterior and interior surface includes a beige painted steel surface. The roof structure is designed to accommodate the load of the HVAC air handling system that was included to provide better temperature control for workers inside the sorting room. Other features of this sorting room include framed openings for conveyor pass through. These conveyor openings include a steel reinforced tube frame for extra strength (see attached photos).
Our Versa-King wall system is ideal for construction of sorting rooms at material recovery facilities (MRF). All components arrive at the construction precut and mitered, ready for immediate installation. Our unique prefabricated, modular design enables a speedy installation to enhance fast track completion of the overall MRF project.
The 3” thick walls of this sorting room include a solid insulating core to provide better energy efficiency than conventional hollow cavity wall construction. In addition, the solid wall includes a layer of drywall to create the necessary thermal barrier for code compliance and a finished surface of painted steel. The combination of all these materials creates a highly impact resistant wall panel to withstand the constant abuse that is typical in such a harsh environment.
