| Modular Room with Pitched Out Walls |
This modular control room includes pitched walls to enable full view of plan floor activities. This modular control room also includes full perimeter windows to further enhance the view. Support for the second floor of this modular building was achieved by use of a structural steel mezzanine. A custom manufactured structural steel frame was used to create the alcove around the modular doorway.
Porta-King's project management team provided turn-key installation service to construct this two-story modular control room. Pre-fab buildings like this structure are designed in-house by our engineers. The prefabricated wall design make construction much faster than a conventionally built structure. Porta-King served as a single source supplier for both the modular wall system and the mezzanine. This single source capability ensures a perfect fit for the modular walls and the structural components that make up the mezzanine. The prefabricated modular wall design will allow the customer to modify or move the original layout should their needs change. Additionally, the prefabricated mezzanine design will also facilitate easy modification or relocation in the future.

All connection angles and clips for beams, purlins and joist are pre-welded in place to make installation much faster than competitive systems.
