This Midwest based manufacture of machined industrial components selected Porta-King to supply them with a modular tall wall system to divide their manufacturing operation. Our local dealer met with the customer on-site with the local Porta-King regional sales manager to review their specific project requirements. Once the initial proposal was complete, a follow up meeting was scheduled that included a representative from our dealer's installation company. A thorough project review was completed with the owner's on-site management team. A summary of this information was forwarded to Porta-King's in-house engineering team to enable production of detailed approval drawings.
Once these drawings were approved, the modular tall walls for this project were put into production. The production process was completed within 4 weeks. Product was shipped to the jobsite for immediate installation by our dealer's installation crew. The project included 170 feet of 18 tall walls with an additional 40 feet of 21 foot of panels that were 21 foot tall. Panels were 3" thick with construction consisted of a textured, painted steel laminated to a solid polystyrene core.
The installation of all wall panels was completed in less than a week. The high speed doors and guard rail shown in this photo were supplied and installed by the local Porta-King dealer.
