This Two Story Modular Office with Break room was installed in a Northeastern manufacturing facility to provide employees a more comfortable space to eat lunch or relax during work breaks. This break room measures 12' wide by 20' long with 8' wall height on each floor. The structural I-beams used to support the second floor were designed to be placed on top of the first floor wall panels to maximize the interior ceiling clearance of the lower level.
This two story modular office with breakroom also includes Porta-King's exclusive Heavy-Duty aluminum doors. These doors not only include a large vision light to increase visibility and improve safety, but the lower panel of the door matches the interior and exterior wall panel surface for enhanced aesthetics. These doors perform better than wood doors or steel doors typically supplied by our competition. The difference is in the tubular store-front type construction. The heavy-duty aluminum structural components of the door are mechanically fastened together to create a rigid framework that will resists years of abuse.
Porta-King also supplied a custom fabricated code compliant stair way with dual landings to provide access to the second story within the confines of the safety rail shown in this photo. Both floors of this modular break room include through wall HVAC units to maintain a comfortable temperature for employees during their breaks.
