| Modular Equipment Enclosure Inside a Factory |
This modular equipment enclosure creates a separate space for a specialized manufacturing process inside this factory. The 3” thick walls used to construct this structure include a solid insulated core that provides excellent thermal and sound control. A painted steel surface was added to the exterior wall surface to create a more durable surface. Windows were added at strategic points along the wall surface to enable factory personnel to view the equipment manufacturing process without entering the modular enclosure.
This Porta-King building also included a large steel framed opening to support an overhead door that was supplied and installed by our local dealer. Utilizing the Porta-King modular construction concept also enabled the customer to create a custom floor plan that met their specific design requirements. Our local Porta-King representative met with the customer to review their specific project requirements in order to design a modular factory building that would meet their expectations.
The prefabricated panels used in the construction of this building can be disassembled and moved to another location to facilitate changes in floor plan layouts. In addition, the design of this modular factory building can be changed in the future. Porta-King will redesign the layout of the original system for free. This holds true even if no additional materials are required for the expansion or modification.
