Porta-King Builds In Security for Access / Revenue Control

November 23, 2004

Porta-King Builds In Security for Access / Revenue ControlApril, 1997 -- Transaction security takes top priority in Porta-King Building Systems' pre-assembled access/revenue control buildings and booths designed with worker safety and content protection in mind.

Porta-King access/revenue control structures enclose workers from the ground up in ballistic-related materials that meet up to Class 3 requirements (.44 magnum penetration). Optional safety features include: security screens, steel roll-down shutters, through-wall transaction drawers, intercom and lighting systems.

Standard security features include a break-in resistant door and deadlock system, premium window locks and tempered/safety glass. Entrance security begins with a an overhead track-suspended, 1-3/4" extruded aluminum door recessed into the floor, making it virtually impossible to kick in. The door's deadlock series incorporates a heavy-duty, five-ply laminated stainless steel hookbolt to repel prybar and hacksaw assault. A removable cylinder can be master-keyed to prevent unauthorized duplication.

Porta-King's access/revenue control buildings and booths are available in a variety of standard sizes. All buildings and booths can be built to custom design requirements. Buildings arrive ready-to-use, completely wired and become fully operational by simply providing a single-phase power source. No assembly is required.
