| Guard Booth with Rounded Corners |
Durasteel 8’x6’ Guard Booth with tinted tempered safety glass, sliding door, radius windows, radius building corners, 12” high extended roof fascia and two-tone paint.
This booth is being used as a shelter for a guard and security equipment at Midwest pharmaceutical company. This Durasteel portable building includes many custom features to make a lasting impression for both visitors and employees. Custom features include radius corners for both the walls and roof fascia. To complete the look, rounded windows were also included in this pre-engineered booth. The walls of a Durasteel guard booth are completely smooth to create a seamless, monolithic appearance.
During construction all of joints are filled and then ground smooth prior to painting. A two-toned paint finish was requested to match a corporate color scheme. In addition, this two-toned finish created a clean separation between the roofline and walls of the building. This Durasteel building also includes an anodized aluminum sliding door. As a standard, Porta-King utilizes a top suspended anodized aluminum sliding door. The top suspended assembly reduces the maintenance that is required for bottom track door assemblies used in many of our competitors’ buildings. The door also includes a standard laminated hook-bolt with a removable core for the option of a master key. A horizontal transaction window was added to allow for interaction between the guard and visitors without ever leaving the security of building. The glazing of this Durasteel building was tinted to reduce glare from the sun.
The Porta-King dealer who sold this booth completed the project by providing a turn-key service, which included an off-loading and anchoring service for this building.
