| Parking Booth with Custom Glazing |
Duraluminum 8’x6’ Parking Booth with single color total exterior paint, standing seam roof with 12” extended overhang, polycarbonate wrap-around satellite glazing, exterior spotlights, custom header panel glazing, thru wall HVAC and customer applied brick facade.
Porta-King manufactured this prefabricated custom parking booth for use in parking operations at this hotel located in Chicago, IL. The client worked with our local dealer to create a design that complimented the architecture of their luxury hotel. The basic structure for this application was constructed using our Duraluminum building which consists of all anodized aluminum construction. From there the client added a number of the custom features including custom windows that extend from the sill to the roofline. This dramatic effect not only adds beauty but also greatly increases the amount of natural light entering into the booth.
Along with this elongated windows, the client also selected our “satellite glazing” option that includes wrap-around glazing on both ends. A standing seam roof was added to further enhance the aesthetics. An extended overhang was included to provide room for installation of exterior floodlights. The floodlights are controlled by a switch located inside the booth that can be turned on to illuminate the surrounding area for added security. A “ready for brick” option was added to allow for the on-site addition of brick and stone around the perimeter. The finished effect created the impression of conventional construction with all the advantages of our preassembled exterior booths.
