| Prefabricated Booth with Extended Overhang Roof |
This is a Durasteel 8’x8’ prefabricated steel guard booth. This booth was installed to shelter security personnel who check vehicles entering and exiting this commercial facility in downtown Atlanta. This Durasteel unit has a custom roof design that includes both a 24” extended overhang to help shade the guards from the sun and an 18” high fascia with a horizontal reveal running the full perimeter to enhance the architectural appeal. The roof also included an extra tall fascia to allow installation of entry / exit lights.
Because all our booths are shipped preassembled, installation, this unit was simply off-loaded from the truck and anchored onto the existing concrete pad.
Standard pricing for our booths includes painting any single color selected by our customer. We apply a rust inhibitive primer and then two finish coats of industrial grade acrylic enamel to assure years of trouble free performance. Optional, multi-colored, paint finishes are also available.
This prefabricated steel guard booth also included a pre-installed electric package designed in accordance to the customer’s specifications. Included in this electric package was a through wall HVAC unit located in the back of the booth to provide climate control inside the booth. To assure the prefabricated guard booth will be constructed in accordance to the customer’s wishes, detailed approval drawings were created and submitted for the customer to review and approve prior to beginning the fabrication of the building.
