Porta-King designed this security booth in accordance to the customer’s specific requirements. Although we offer many standard security booth sizes, each building we manufacture will incorporate special design features to match our customer’s application requirements. Porta-King used all anodized aluminum construction in the manufacturer of this security booth. We used anodized aluminum for the construction of this guard booth because it is a maintenance free finish. Other manufacturers use mill finished aluminum or fiberglass reinforced plastic for the finish surface of the security booth. Neither material is as maintenance free as anodized aluminum. This enables Porta-King to offer the best warranty in the industry.
This security booth includes a swing door for access into the building. We could have also used a top suspended sliding door for this guard booth. Sliding doors are more popular for a security booth that will be placed in a traffic lane. The sliding door is safer because it does not open into the traffic lane.
This security booth included an installed roof with an integral gutter. The roof of this guard booth also includes a membrane skin on top of the roof to make it weather tight. Standing seam roofs or other custom designs can be added to a security booth to enhance the aesthetics.
