Durasteel 8’x6’ Guard House with blue tinted tempered safety glass, 24” extended roof overhang, 18” high extended roof fascia, recessed can lights in soffit and customer applied stone facade.
This custom Durasteel guard house creates a first class impression for this corporate office complex. The customer chose one of Porta-King preassembled buildings for several reasons. Most important was our willingness to work on-site in coordination with our local dealer to create a design that satisfied the customer vision for their Durasteel building. The customer liked the look of a steel building and the custom design features that could be incorprated by using steel construction.
There were several important design features the customer needed to incorporate into this building. First was matching the exact exterior masonry of the corporate office required an on-site application of the same masonry material. The building was prepared to receive this material with our "ready for brick" option. A custom roof included extending both the overhang and fascia height to achieve the desired look. The owner then selected a custom paint color for this portable building.
The local dealer, in conjunction with the local Porta-King representative, also coordinated the off-loading and anchoring of this Durasteel guard house. Installation also included supply of electrical service to the building and connection to the load center that had been factory installed by Porta-King. Detailed approval drawings are a standard with all Porta-King preassembled building orders. Providing these detailed drawings as part of the approval process assures that the layout of the Durasteel guard house will be just want the customer is expecting. Every last construction detail is illustrated for the customer to review. Only after the customer has approved a final design does the building go into production.
