The POLICE KOBAN is ideal for use at airports, inner-city streets, parks, night-life locations, high schools and college campuses. Buildings stand 10'6" tall and feature back-lit illuminated signage, which increases visibility to would-be perpetrators. Built in security features include: (1) Class III bullet-resistant construction to protect the on-duty officer; (2) Custom designed stainless steel monitor-shelves and cabinets to house surveillance equipment; (3) Exterior mounted autodial "911" telephone for civilian use in case of emergency; (4) Through-wall climate control, service sink, and dimming lights to increase comfort for the user, and provide non-glaring visibility during night hours.
The building arrives ready-to-use and completely wired to a main service-box. Communication, security, and plumbing feeds can be easily connected once the building arrives on-site. The building is available in a variety of custom acrylic finishes, including special three-color painting systems (pictured above), aggregate stone, and fired brick to blend in with the architectural theme of the area.
