Porta-King's mobile access control stations ride to immediate and cost-effective rescue at special event and perimeter entrances.
Mobile units add extra security quickly, making them ideal for temporary installations at sporting events, public venues, etc., in addition to long-term applications where entry areas are constantly changing to meet project and security needs.
In selecting a mobile access control station, there's a lot more to consider than just wheels and axles, according to Porta-King Building Systems, a noted manufacturer of trailer-mounted, fabricated structures. Remote locations, for instance, require on-board power sources for electrical, lighting, HVAC and communications systems. On-board necessities such as RV-style toilets and fresh water access also add to worker comfort and safety at remote sites.
Porta-King's most sophisticated mobile access station to date is a 6' X 12' unit featuring two electrically operated barrier gates and a "stop n' go" signal system to control entering and exiting construction site traffic. An on-board diesel generator supplies all electric needs, including that required for a roof-mounted HVAC system and supplemental heater. Sliding doors on each side of the building allow attendants easy entry and exit. Tinted glass provides 360-degree visibility and internal temperature control when combined with R-10 thermal insulation which minimizes air conditioning and heating needs.
Porta-King has been a leader in custom-design pre-assembled buildings since 1969. To request a free quotation or product literature, or to schedule a site visit to your facility, contact us at info@portaking.com or call 800-284-5346.
