The pre-assembled buildings are built to withstand almost any environmental challenge while protecting ports and terminals from unauthorized entries and threats. Security features include Class III bullet-resistant construction to protect guards, custom-designed shelves and cabinets for surveillance equipment, intercom systems and data ports for communications, climate control, service sink, and dimming lights to reduce glare and increase visibility during night hours. Other options include roll-down shutters for vandal and hurricane protection and lighting packages to increase security and enhance aesthetics.
Porta-King also offers buildings that can be elevated from 10 feet to 40 feet to greatly increase sight lines in large open areas or to overcome obstructed views. Elevated on steel mezzanines, these vision towers can be equipped with spotlights, bullet-resistant materials and gun ports to better secure areas. Port authorities also can opt for trailer-mounted pre-assembled buildings. Equipped with optional generators, the security buildings can be rapidly deployed to secure areas and control access during heightened alerts or emergencies.
All buildings arrive fully assembled and pre-wired for fast, easy installation. All buildings are UL (NEC) certified from UL-Levels 1-4.
