Modular Rooms

The unique design features utilized in all of our modular rooms provides our customer’s with a construction option that includes all of the functionality of a conventionally constructed room with all of the added benefits found in a pre-engineered structure 

The installation is much faster because the design for the modular room is completed at our factory.  The components used to construct our rooms are cut to size at our factory so that they will fit the exact layout requirements for your application.  The design is then incorporated in a detailed project manual that includes instructions for installation along with a fully illustrated parts list that identifies all of the components that will be used in the assembly process. 

Faster installation means less disruption to your daily business operations. Because there is no on-site fabrication there is less mess. This can be especially important in areas where dust and debris could interfere with sensitive manufacturing operations. On average you can anticipate a 50% time savings when using our modular design for your construction project.

Another advantage to using modular construction is that all of the materials purchased to construct your room are reusable. If your space needs change, simply contact Porta-King and we’ll redesign your system for free, even if no additional materials are required. Most of our customer will redesign one of our rooms at least once during the life of the structure. This is one of the greatest advantages to using one of our systems.  This flexibility to redesign and reuse materials would not be possible with a conventionally built structure.

We offer a wide array of wall panel compositions which enables us to address a wide range of application requirements.  These wall systems are available in either 1 ¾” or 3” panel thicknesses. Our 3” thick panel has been the most popular options for most of the rooms we manufacture. The wall systems used to construct our rooms include an aluminum framing system that serves as both the connection method for wall panels and a chase to conceal electric and data wiring.
