Utilizing Porta-King cleanroom wall systems offer our clients an easy way to create functional, flexible clean space inside manufacturing, medical and research facilities. The wall systems are easier to install than conventionally built walls and include the added flexibility of being completely reusable.

Additionally all components arrive on-site precut and ready for immediate installation. Because there is not cutting of materials, construction sites remain much cleaner than with conventional construction. This is especially important considering the sensitive nature of most environments where clean rooms are typically required.

We offer several different clean room wall systems with unique framing features to accommodate a broad base of applications. Because of this diversity we can offer you more design solutions than other manufacturers.

Our clean room wall systems can also include a variety of core and finished surface materials depending on the application requirements. Our clean room wall systems are easy to Interface with air showers, wall pass throughs or other cleanroom equipment components. Our Versa-King wall system is our most popular for clean room applications. The framing system is made of a non-shedding anodized aluminum frame which makes it ideal for the aseptic environment required for clean rooms. Additionally, the extruding process used to create the various framing components used in the Versa-King systems include tight tolerances to ensure a secure fit at all critical points enabling the overall system to be sealed properly.

This system is available in both a 3” and 1 ¾” thick panel thickness. The 3” post has load bearing capabilities which makes it ideal for perimeter walls which are often used to support the structural steel systems required to suspend the air handling systems used to circulate the air through the cleanroom. The

1 ¾” system is often used on the inside to either create a dual wall for laminar air flow or for partitions in areas that need to be separated from the main room. The thinner profile of this wall system is not only less expensive but it also enables maximization of space utilization.

In addition to Versa-King, we manufacture a number of other wall systems for cleanroom applications. Typically the choice of wall system is controlled by the application requirements. As an example, other wall systems like Versa-King HD and monolith can be supplied in single piece or stackable configurations to 40’ in height. These wall systems include panels up to 6” thick to provide additional insulation or for the additional structural integrity required for walls used in taller rooms. Another option would be our monolith wall system which utilizes a tongue and groove side connection to create a room with a virtually smooth wall surface. Monolith consists of a smooth painted interior and exterior surface permanently laminated to either an EPS or urethane core.
