We manufacture guard booths and buildings although sometimes you may hear them referred to as a guard hut.  It doesn’t matter to us whether they are called guard booths, buildings or huts we just want the opportunity to show you our construction and design capabilities.

Porta-King’s prefabricated design is a superior alternative to building with conventional construction materials for a variety of reasons.  Probably the single most important benefit to utilizing this type of construction is the speed in which the project can be completed.  Because we build the guard hut at our factory, it ships fully assembled directly to your facility, ready for immediate occupancy.  This dramatically reduces the timeline required for completion of your project when compared to conventional construction methods.  No need to engage and architect, take bids from contractors or deal with building inspections at every step on the construction process.  We supply a code compliant structure that is designed in compliance with your state’s requirements.  We can supply structural engineering calculations and stamped drawings from a structural engineered registered in all 50 states.

To better accommodate the different style preferences, physical environments and other considerations we offer three primary construction options: 

Duraluminum: A maintenance free all anodized aluminum structure and it our most economical option for construction of your guard hut. Both of the other prefabricated construction options we offer utilize steel as the primary construction material. 

Durasteel:  An all steel structure with a 14 gauge seamless exterior surface.  Durasteel huts are a welded design, constructed from scratch to enable us to create custom features like ballistic rated walls and windows, custom wall and roof designs along with a long list of other unique design features. 

Durasteel PC:  This variation of our Durasteel product line includes preformed steel panels inserted into a welded steel frame to create the wall of the structure.  This process is less labor intensive than the seamless walls we create for Durasteel buildings.  Because of this the Durasteel PC is more economically priced that Durasteel.  Additionally, the steel panel inserts can be easily removed and replaced if damaged.
