Prefabricated Pulpits

We build custom designed prefabricated pulpits for a long list of industrial applications. 

The heavy-duty building materials we utilize to construct our pulpits ensure a safe environment for the factory personnel that occupy them.  Each structure is designed with the customer’s specific application requirements in mind.  We manufacture these structures for both interior and exterior applications.

Your pulpit will arrive at your facility fully assembled and ready of installation. This includes doors, glazing, electrical systems, cabinetry, and case work and even control panels for equipment depending on the applications.   HVAC systems including self contained split systems can also be provided and in many cases  factory installed prior to shipping.

Porta-King can also supply the prefabricated towers to elevate a pulpit above the ground.  We also can fabricate other structures like platforms, catwalks and stairs to create access points into the pulpit from the plant floor or from adjacent structures.  Just like our prefabricated pulpits, we custom design each of these structures to meet your project requirements.  Our unique capability to offer you a single supplier resource for both structures ensures a seamless, trouble free, fast-track completion of your project.

Pulpits can include a wide array of design options to meet virtually any requirements.

Common concerns in the construction of the structures include noise reduction and temperature control.  To respond to these issues we offer a variety of high density wall insulating materials and insulated glazing types to address the demands of most project requirements.

To better accommodate the different uses for pulpits we offer three primary construction options.  Duraluminum is maintenance free all anodized aluminum prefabricated structure that is ideal for a wide range of applications and is typically our most economical construction option.  Both of our other prefabricated construction options use steel as the primary construction material.  Durasteel is an all steel structure with a 14 gauge seamless exterior surface.  Durasteels are a welded structure, constructed with custom steel shapes that enable us to create custom features like tilted windows, custom wall angles and other unique design styles.  The third construction option we offer for pulpits is Durasteel PC.  This variation of our Durasteel product line includes preformed steel panels inserted into a welded steel frame to create the wall of the structure.  This process is less labor intensive than the seamless walls we create for a Durasteel pulpit.  Because of this the Durasteel PC is more economically priced that Durasteel.  Additionally, the steel panel inserts can be removed and replaced if damaged.
