This prefabricated bus shelter is located on a long term airport parking terminal to shelter patrons waiting for shuttle buses to take them to the airport. This bus shelter was shipped from our factory completely assembled including the bench. The layout of this bus shelter represents our floor plan “C”. In addition to this floor plan, Porta-King offers two other standard layouts and countless custom designs. Installation of this prefabricated bus shelter was as simple as off-loading from the truck and anchoring to existing concrete footings.
A Porta-King prefabricated bus shelter is constructed of durable an all steel structural framework. All weld lines are ground smooth to create a seamless framework. All bus shelters include a factory-installed roof with gutters located on the two long sides of the shelter. This prefabricated bus shelter is painted with industrial grade acrylic enamel paint. We offer a virtually limitless selection of paint colors to match or compliment any color scheme. All bus shelters are painted one single color as a standard. Multi-colored paint finishes are available as an option. The structural posts and anchoring plates of this portable bus shelter was pre-coated with a bituminous coating, applied as a rust inhibitor prior to the application of the final coat. This bus shelter includes the standard glazing of 3/16” tempered safety glass along with anodized aluminum frames.
