Modular Rooms & Enclosures
Our modular buildings are designed to create highly functional space anywhere inside your facility. The pre-engineered components that we provide to construct our modular buildings are designed to be easy to install so your down time in the area of construction is dramatically reduced when compared to conventional construction. The result is a high quality, durable building that will provide years of trouble free service.
Framing
Versa-King 3"

Our most popular wall system. Versa-King systems can accommodate virtually any interior building application. Porta-King uses all extruded aluminum for the vertical post connection and other framing components used in the construction of our 3" Versa-King modular system. Unlike steel post systems, aluminum will not rust when exposed to moisture. The extruding process enables tighter control of the tolerances of the various shapes used to create our modular systems. As a result you get a better fit and finish that is possible with a steel post system. The post design provides an easy access wiring chase every four feet. Snap-on cover plates allow quick and easy wiring during and after set-up. Versa-King is load bearing making it perfect for two story and / or storage loading applications.
PK Series 175

Thin panel design provides outstanding strength while maximizing existing floor space. Perfect for applications where efficient utilization of floor space is critical. Porta-King uses all extruded aluminum for the vertical post connection and other framing components used in the construction of our PK Series 175 modular system. Aluminum is a maintenance free material. Unlike steel post systems it will not rust when exposed to moisture. The extruding process enables tighter control of the tolerances of the various shapes used to create our modular systems. As a result you get a better fit and finish that is possible with a steel post system. Excellent for partial and full-height partition systems. The thin profile of the aluminum connecting posts create a sleak modern appearance. Optional wiring posts include snap-on cover plate to enable quick and easy wiring during and after set-up.
Versa-King 1 3/4"

This thinner version of our popular 3" Versa-King is ideal for those on a budget. This system includes many of the same great features found in 3" Versa-King but at considerabe cost savings. Porta-King uses all extruded aluminum for the vertical post connection and other framing components used in the construction of our Versa-King 1 3/4" modular system. Aluminum is a maintenance free material. Unlike steel post systems it will not rust when exposed to moisture. The extruding process enables tighter control of the tolerances of the various shapes used to create our modular systems. As a result you get a better fit and finish that is possible with a steel post system. All components easily dismantle for relocation or increasing/decreasing size of structure -all parts are 100% reusable.

Roof & Ceiling Systems
Standard Non-Load Bearing Ceiling System

Our standard ceiling system consist of a corrugated metal deck that is anchored to the top of the wall panels. An acoustical ceiling system is then suspended via tie wires to create the finished interior. The gauge of the decking is designed to support the grid work acoustical tiles and lights. For larger spans a structural I-beam will be added to provide additional support.
Metal Decking

Our metal decking is a 1 1/2" corrugated, painted B deck. We use 22 gauge or 18 gauge decking depending on the span and load design requirements.
Acoustical Ceiling System

Our standard acoustical ceiling system consists of a 2'x4' acoustical tile. The tile is a 5/8" mineral board with a non directional fissured pattern. The main runners and cross tees are an intermediate grade, white painted galvanized steel. Many other ceiling tiles and grid types are available as options to address specific application requirements.
Load Bearing Ceiling System

Load bearing roofs can be designed by adding structural steel I-beams that are mounted at pre-determined centers to create the required design load. Some heavier load designs, expecially those with large clean span requirements may require additional support via columns either in the wall panels or inside the enclosure. In some cases we will recommend the use of a mezzanine in order to create the appropriate load bearing design.
Panelized Ceiling System

Panelized ceilings are ideal for applications where a tight seal is required. These light weight panels are installed via a tongue and groove side connection. These panels are insulated with an EPS core and are available in 3"-6" thicknesses to accommodate different span conditions. They include a white painted steel interior and exterior surface.
Roof Support Angle

Roof support angle is provided to support non-load bearing ceiling systems for structures that will utilize 1 or 2 existing walls to create the four wall enclosure. Our standard roof support angle consists of a thick extruded anodized aluminum angle that is permanently attached to the existing structure to create a secure and level surface for a metal deck or panelized ceiling system.
Doors
HDD - Heavy Duty Aluminum - Single Man Door

Heavy-duty tubular framework is mechanically fastened together to create a very durable, light weight, door leaf. The door frame is aluminum to match wall framing and installs flush with wall panels. Connecting posts are located on both sides which lock into the door frame for greater strength and resistants to racking. HDD doors include a 30 1/2" wide by 40 1/2" high vision lite in each leaf. The lower half of the door leaf includes an insert that matches the specified modular wall construction. Standard door leaf is 3068 to create a 6068 double door but other sizes are available. These doors come standard with an adjustable door sweep and a full perimeter bulb gasket seal.

Sliding Doors

This sliding door consists of two panels suspended from a heavy duty top track. The panels are moved manually to create a large opening for equipment to pass through. The panels are constructed of the same material as the wall panels but could be comprised of other materials depending on the individual application requirements. The doors are also available in single panel configurations and can be provided in a range of sizes.
Roll Up Doors

Roll up doors are a popular option and can be easily incorporated into our modular buildings. A typical application will include a structural steel tube framework to ensure the door is secured into the wall system to provide years of trouble free service. Roll up doors are available in a wide range of designs and can be operated manually or by electric power.
Custom Doors

We can also design a custom door for specific application requirements. This door is motorized and slides horizontally to create a large opening that enables material to be moved in and out of the building. The horizontal brace was included to prevent the door from racking while in operation.
Automated Sliding Doors

Automated sliding doors can be easily incorporated into the design of our modular systems. Structural steel tube frames are custom designed to create a rigid support system to support the automated door. The vertical panel connectors adjacent to the door serve as wiring chases to conceal electrical service to the door and related hardware.
