Porta-King Buildings worked with MACHFINISH in the design, fabrication, and assembly of a 20×90 Versa-King building divided into wash, compounding and blast rooms. One of the unique elements was the design of a supporting superstructure to accommodate a trolley system in the wash compartment allowing for moving parts to and from wash tanks and other processes.
A white painted corrugated roof deck was included to enhance light reflectivity inside the structure.
The speed and ease of construction was of great importance as it minimized downtime and allowed the team to start using the new enclosure much faster than would have been possible with conventional construction.
